SaniConnect™ snap-lock fittings are injection-molded from Kynar® PVDF on all wetted surfaces. The interior gasket is FKM elastomer while the steel teeth which hold the tubing in place are made from 304 SST. A 6 mm or 3/16 inch Kynar® tube can be quickly inserted and locked into position. Applied pressure on the exterior surface ring releases the internal teeth from the PVDF tube and allows the tube to be easily retracted.
SaniConnect™ snap lock fittings are tested at 40 psi and have a maximum working pressure of 30 psi. Because its Kynar® PVDF where it counts, corrosion and chemical absorption are eliminated. Besides exceptional corrosion resistance, Kynar® is very clean down to the parts per billion level. Continual use of the SaniConnect snap lock fitting means that the wetted PVDF surfaces become cleaner over time. These fittings can also be sterilized without damage to the Kynar® PVDF.
